Little jolly for a few hours. Only a bit of footage on the go-pro, as it wasn't fully charged, but we have some other stuff from crappy cameras, etc, which he is sending me. Was good fun. The first hill bit is surprisingly steep, although as usual it never looks steep on camera. We made our way along the ridge as far as we could through the bushes, and what nots, until we couldn't get any further.

Going to be making some underbody protection in the next week or so with the new welder smile

You have some nice scenerey in Bulgaria. Are those areas set aside for 4x4's or are you allowed to roam as you fancy?

As you please, except for private farming land, or forestry land. Anything else is fair game.

Iv got a vit as well so I'm a bit biased, but how does the pinin compare? When looking for a 4x4 one factor that swinged it for me was the amount of off road parts available, the pinin didn't seem to have the same choice.

The Pinin has very few parts available, and the spring cup that sits above the wheel is very limiting for tyres. The clearence under the front axle is considerably less than the Vitara due to the placement of the wishbones in relation to the wheel. Still, it seems to cope well enough offeoad, and it has a Torsten rear diff, which gives it a small advantage traction wise, I think. It does have a very large tubular transfer case bar which does stick down a fair amount though.
