Just to see what the general opinion is...

I am selling a C crosser which very occassionally has a slipping clutch. It might happen on one journey a week but will happen 2-3 times in that journey when it does.

I can't decide if it would be easier to sell as "good condition but minor clutch issues" and drop the price by £500-£1000. Or "good condition with new clutch" and sell it for the correct value.

Which do you think would be the easier sale? I have already bought a new car so just need to get rid.

Cheers,

Probably not what you want to here but I'd not even consider buying with clutch issues unless there was considerable discount.

On the other hand, get the clutch done and it becomes a big positive to the buyer in my eyes.

Cheers,
