Electrical problems!

Mine was fine until the gearbox got stuck in gear. 6 visits to 2 different places (yes 6) and just under £700 diagnosed and fixed it. Turned out to be a bad earth!

Mines for sale btw black 04 reg 90k fsh £4950 if your interested (sorry for shameless plug) EVERYTHING works perfectly.

take the plastic engine cover off, any tar like residue around the injectors, walk away. Injector faults once started seem to come back, its about £3-400 to have all the seals replaced.

Also turn ignition on-off-on-off-on and check the display on the dash, any codes on the managment system will be displayed. http://www.wjjeeps.com is full of info, do the check on the heater system, info is on wjjeeps, will tell you if there are any faults with it (although blend door fix is only £100 these days)

oh & IMHO a 4litre petrol on LPG is a better buy, just picked up an '01 with 100k on the clock with LPG for £2200, they are the most reliable of all the WJ jeeps & cheaper to run than a diesel
