Hi All,

What do you, the PH Massive use?

I'm in need of buying a couple of decent ones, but not sure on which to go for. Are they all pretty much the same (when the breaking strain is equal, of course)?

I think an 8.0M one would perhaps give me more scope, however, to my untrained eyes they all look a bit on the weedy/skinny side, regardsless of 4000/6000/12000Lb breaking strain.

Cheers,

C.

I get all my strops from Damar webbing. I use endless 5t strops and have them in 3,4 &5 metres lengths. I tend to get through 6-7 a year (relating to tree work not self recovery) but if you were just using it for occasional offroading/pay and play days one should last you years. Not bad for £20.

If that's the place in Chesterfield I think it is, I would agree totally! I went in there to buy a strop, and came out £100+ down, I got so excited! hehe

They didn't have the colour to match the in the lengths I wanted, so I hung around for 5 minutes and they spun them all up for me. Great service, and a bargain too.

Never been there in person, I order it all online/over the phone. They were very flexible though and would knock up any length in any strength and were still a lot cheaper than everyone else.
