It is time to sell my trusty steed. It has been fun!
Anyone for a proper 4x4? Relentless torque and traction, 16 forward and 16 reverse gears?
9 ft wading?

That is a hell of a lot of 'gear levers'.

Normalbloke is this your Unimog?

What a great vehicle, might cost a bit to ship it over though.

What are all the gear levers for?

With all those levers, the Unimog must be the most thief proof vehicle on the road.

Is the little bulldozer attachment for pushing yourself out of the mud, or for actual bulldozing?

Neither, it is a retractable ground anchor for the rear winch. All the winching stresses are transferred directly into the ground, and not through the vehicle. It's also handy for changing a rear wheel!

You're quite right. There are several combinations of neutral you can leave it in, plus the lowest set of gears will hit a lofty 120 mph on the redline in true 1st gear. That's 120 metres per hour.....
