Got my Heep back on the road after it passing it's MOT today (phewf), so looking into breakdown recovery options for it. In the past I've been with the RAC, but was looking for experiences with RAC/AA/Green Flag/etc and their attitudes to recovering vehicles that might have been accidentally broken (oops) after frolicking at an RTV event or green laning day?

I'll be fully insured, MOT'd and taxed, but have read that some recovery organisations can be a bit off when calling out to a muddy vehicle by the side of the road not that far away from a site...

If you have your insurance with a 4x4 specialist company, check with them, they'll be your best option.
