Is there a product that can be fitted to a tow-ball to prevent a tow-rope slipping off, or attach the tow-rope to?

I use a "D" shackle ... it is big enough to secure a tow rope, and when the pin is secured over the next of the towbar, the ball will not allow the Shackle to slip off. £3.49 smile

I did the same until being warned off using the towball for recovery. Now I use a 1 metre strap round behind the towbar assembly itself, with both ends the D shackle with the main towrope. Disadvantage is that I can't leave it on all the time, but it sure beats someone getting my towball in the face.
