May anyone recommend me a company to hire a 'big' 4x4 from around the Winchester/Southampton area ?

Proper Range Rover or Defender 110 size.

It is for 1st September until 4th/5th.

Myself, my old man and my two brothers are off to the Dorset Steam fair for a couple of days. Camping involves driving up a big old muddy hill if the weather is naff so a large 4x4 is ideal as it can fit all our luggage and we have no issues getting to our patch smile

Either me or my dad have had one in the past few years but this year we only have 2 ropey old fiestas !

If anyone fancies 'hiring' their own vehicle out please let me know. I'm a mechanic so could possibly chuck you a free service in exchange or cash smile

Possibly worth giving this lot a call - that's the first place I'd try if I needed to hire a Defender. Looks like they have a branch in Romsey.

nono

Enterprise often have Jags and RRs parked out front, but they are only issued as courtesy cars for Jag and RR owners. The peasants cant hire them and JagLR wont allow them to be hired for anything else.
