Grease the splines axle stub or not?

Have some AVM manual hubs to fit tomorrow. Seems very simple to fit, BUT, it doesn't mention anything about giving the splines axles shaft a blob of grease or not. I have Moly grease, but unsure if I should or not. Anyone else done so, or shall I leave it as is?

Use some anti sieze on it mate, if you're throwing it through mud etc it'll be a lot easier to work on if it needs taken apart in the future.

I use Permatex 81343 for that sort of work. Pay about a £5 a tube for it from my local factors.

It's too late, Chainguy... I've put them on!

Went on a treat. Blobbed a bit of grease on the splined axelish bit.

Top lad, bit of lube on yer spline never hurt matters
