Wonder if the PH 4x4 collective can help.

The rubber surround on y 51 plate Landcrusier has come loose on one side this morning on my daily commute. its the 1 - 2 cm strip between the edge of the windscreena and the A frame / bodywork.

Can I just super glue this bak in place or??

May seem naieve but never had this happen on any past car.

Thanks

I wouldn't use super glue, I'd use Tiger seal.

Just go to a windscreen fitters, I doubt they'll even charge you for it.

Edited...Wrong quote!!!
Fitters is probably a better option if they'll sort it FOC.

For the trim to come loose on a 51 plate LC, the screen must have been replaced (very unlikely that the factory fitted one will come loose).

Please don't use super-glue!

Tiger seal is better, but you won't need a lot. Depending on where you are, I can get some help to you (with some proper stuff).

Get it fixed mate or the screen will leak onto the alarm, both my Amazons had this issue.

Thanks mate for the offer and the email. All fioxed for a coupel fo packs of biscuits in the end.

The local Auotglass place had quoted me £120 so I turned up the next morning to question why it would be 120. As I drove up, a guy came up to me from AG and asked what the matter was, I explained, he took a 5 mintue look at it and said that it could be done in no time at all.

By the time I'd sat down and called my OH with the good news, he'd done it and the fee? Some money for the biscuit fund - I chucked in a fiver and smile all round.

Thanks for the help though guys.
