Yer, its scruffy as hell, only 2 seats, but at the end of the day, im pretty sure itll get rolled on pay and play site! My vitara lasted 12 months doing that. If it last till the MOT, im happy! Engine car be had for £50 if thats the issue with the oil taking a while for pressure, meh, Im happy to tinker!

A £350 quid Frontera, what could possibly go wrong
To be fair though, there is quite a good Frontera following on the offroad forums.... A chap up the road from me, has a LWB one, lifted, winch, big tyres etc.... Looks pretty cool
I'll try and get a pic of one of the guys in my town. I can nearly guarantee this Frontera LWB is taller To be fair though, there is quite a good Frontera following on the offroad forums.... A chap up the road from me, has a LWB one, lifted, winch, big tyres etc.... Looks pretty cool
I seriously need to get an off roader soon. I had a Land Rover Experience day (newbie, I can hear you scream!) in a 110. I absolutely loved it!

Thats what im hoping with this! Ive just ordered a full service kit, inc cambelt etc for less than £100. Happy days, ill sort that next week when im off work, some LED Recovery Lights, Mud Tyres, and we, we can go from there!
Just watch the front diff... The A series 2.0's are known for weak front diffs..geeks said:

Very jealous of that SJ, how does it perform compared to your Vitara?
Very similar as it happens. I can go anywhere it goes, and vice versa. I do seem to be able to climb steeper slopes with more ease than it, (experienced this yesterday. It seems to bounce a lot more in poor traction so loses what traction it does have. I presume it is because of the leafs, rather than coils?) Ground clearance wise, although it looks like it has more, the Vitara actually has that, by a fraction. The under body protection on the SJ lowers the clearance by about an inch an a quarter.

2 vids from a little exploration run we did the other day. Nothing dangerous, muddy, etc, but nice views from up there. My house is just a mile of 3 away so nice and local. never been up there before.
First one is a bit long, mainly due to laziness editing. I just took out the bits where we natter whenever we stop.

This one is an iphone vid from one of the disused forest trails, on the hill opposite the first vid. Gets pretty scratchy up there.
