Looking for a crash helmet at the Show

never been before so is it 'better' to go on the Trade days or public days if one wishes to try and buy a crash helmet? I suspect the Trade day but canvassing opinion

As far as for buying a helmet is concerned I wouldn't expect that it would make any difference as the suppliers for those tend to be their throughout. If you wanted to talk to any engineering companies you would have to go on the trade days and if you want to buy general memorabilia then probably a bit more on offer on the public days. Personally I prefer the trade days if you are eligible just for the reduced crowds though.

got one on a public day from demon tweeks a couple of years ago, was no problem and tried them on as i needed to

The only place to go and try stuff to see if it fits. Can't stand all this sending out and returning that the internet and mail order boys do. I just wish there were some places in the southeast to try stuff on. So its off to the NEC for me.
