PistonHeads Show: The Best Bits In Pics

Our favourites from the recent PH show at the NEC

Well, that's it, folks. Another PistonHeadsPerformance Car Show has come and gone, and all the PHers' cars, readers, exhibitors and their stands have left the NEC for another year.

And this year, the third time we've teamed up with (and run alongside) Autosport International, was one of the best, with brand new cars from Aspira and Chevron (not to mention Lotus, Ginetta and Porsche on the Autosport side of things), a first motor show unveil for the Noble M600, and the European debut of the Lexus LFA.

Showgoers could also try their hand at the Playstation/Nissan GT Academy time trial for a chance to win a season as a fully fledged 'real' racing driver or, the PH team were pleased to note, treat themselves to a free sample of Macallan whisky.

Of course you could also buy all your favourite PistonHeads merchandise live and in person...

So, for those of you who missed it (and for those of you who didn't), here are some of the PH show highlights in pictures.

Thanks to Nick Williams for the pictures

Mmmmm paintjob on the Morgan is interesting. Speaking of paintjobs, I wonder if there will be any more 'Midnight Purple' editions of the GTR?

Is this a down-side to having a wrap?

great show and enjoyed it however 1 stand really was out of place there. and on your day off having driven miles (for us 900 mile round trip) this

seriously? is this the government trying to be "cool retro and down with the kids" by having this stand at the show?

would have like to see more members cars. good mix though

The lambo SV did it for me on the day tbh - what a machine.

That purple GT-R looked terrible but i did like the exige with the supercharged type r engine in the back, very sweet.

My misses loved the Cayman S on display amoungst the members cars and we both agreed the Atom is just crazy!!

Some of you do have some very nice cars, lucky buggers!!

Good day out but a bit lacking compaired with last year. The Tiff and Plato duel was quite a nice unexpected surprise though.

I didn't bother going this year as the price for one adult and child was ridiculous.

Glad I didn't go as all the independent people I've spoken to who went said it was quite disappointing and not worth the money either.

A shame really, I expect better from Pistonheads.

Whovever rolled up at Morgan and said "I want it in a sensible colour, with a yellow interior and wheels" should have been sectioned immidiately.

In fairness to you, there didn't seem to be as many about as normal. Got a few though - MSportUK Gallery. Enjoy!

Very much so, I think. The chrome wrapped R8 that was at Trax last year was absolutely covered in them (and they were'nt fine ones either). Made it look completely pony, tbh (not that chrome looks that great when pristine!). The GTR is way off that level at the moment though, judging by that pic and when I saw it at the Manor Farm barn meet.

I know this has been said before on the actual forum found on the link posted below; but a big congratulations to Boosted Cerb (B38 BHB) who conducted quote, "two years hard work" to rebuilding his TVR Cerbera. I dont intend to start an off topic discussion on TVR but I just thought it should be pointed out given the amount of work put in. Congrats BC smile

Isn't that Evo's David Yu's Nissan GTR? It has the same plate, I'm just hoping he hasn't painted it that godawful colour. Please, please, please tell us you sold the numberplate David!
It's a wrap - see latest Evo mag.
