I wonder if the production version is going to feature such expensive looking wood screws?

They're very classy. They should have used the brass ones though, much more aesthetically pleasing.

One would hope not. I didn't take quite that close a look when I walked past it last night. Frankly it looks like a fannied-up Supra. A nicely fannied-up Supra, but (at the risk of sounding like a stuck record) nevertheless not £340k's worth.

I like the styling other than the front end. But the price makes it a total irrelevance.
It doesn't move the supercar game on in any way other than charging a silly price for a car with no provenance.

Why even badge it a Lexus? It's as far off brand as possible. At least as a mega Toyota they might be able to draw some sort of lineage with the 2000GT or Supra.

I was at the Spec V stand! See the link.
This was yesterday, I'm attending the show properly on Sunday prior to taking my car home, you can't have missed it if you've visited the PH members' cars bit!

See you and Simon then.

Saw your car there today, the wrap looks really good, you have to get pretty close before you can tell it's not a paint job. In fact, it looks like a better paint job than the one on Garlick's Blackpool Canoe hehe

I only figured that it was Godzilla 2 after reading the report on A-J (having obviously not looked at the numberplate......)

Slightly O/T the GT-R looked fantastic, hadn't seen the new colour.

Shame about some of the people though, I saw some tool rubbing the bonnet (Wtf?) and asked him what he was doing. Shrugged his shoulders and buggered off.

If I had a car on display (if I had a nice car hehe) I would have wanted the barriers to be further away as some of the people were showing no respect frown

Saw a lot of this going on unfortunately :-( the chains had been taken/knocked off behind my exige today, I'm guessing so they could get a better look at the engine, I put them back up :-p
