Just rang 08445793187, asked if promo code "as04241" was still valid, they said no but gave me another code anyway to use, (he wouldnt say what it was) still £31 instead of £62, will have to take long haired leader now. Damn!

Tried to book over the phone using the above code and was told that it was last years code. The nice man said he would ring me back after checking and he did with a code for buy 2 tickets get 2 free so all booked 4 tickets for £62-00.

Called the hotline this morning and said I was given the promo code from last year and asked if it was still valid.

Had to preserve, but got the goods in the end and two tickets for £31!

oh well

they must have cottoned on to everyone calling up for this,
as i just tried to order mine and the guy said NO
he went on to say there is no BOGOF code this year they have stopped doing it.

looks like i may miss this years show its just too much money without the BOGOF.

It seems strange that the PH ticket office should give different answers to different people. I'm sure they should have a standard policy as to whether there is a BOGOF offer or not. It seems a little unfair to say different things to different people.

I know several people who are trying to decide whether they go or not depending on how much they can obtain tickets for. I've taken my son for his birthday for the last two years and really enjoyed the show. I've also 'talked up' the show at our local car club. With all this uncertainty I'm not sure if I should wait for an offer to come along, just pay my money, phone the number and try to 'sweet talk' the person who answers using the old code or not bother with the show.

I hope someone from PH can post here to give everyone some clarity as to what they can expect regarding offers on tickets.

well, I've just tried last years code and the bird wasn't having any of my sweet talking wink

Also I'm not interested in seeing the live action thing however, you still have to pay for it as there's no option to opt out of it.

I've been to every Autosport Show for the 6 or 7 years but sadly I think I'm going to give it a miss. The entry and parking costs are now excessive and the food is still rubbish and overpriced.
