I'm about an hour away at the Oxford services

Heard something on the news about the trains, think a power line had come down. Hopefully they'll sort it by tomorrow afternoon when I try to get home.

I'm currently sitting on a train at the platform at the NEC delays due to overhead power lines frown
The swissvax guys had jetwash set-up for us this morning but not sure if it would still be there for everyone. There is one hosepipe though.
Got a good reception from the detailing guys hehe they asked whose the elise was, I told them mine to which they asked what you been cleaning it with mate, grit? frown might take them a while

For those of you dropping cars off, trains are running from the NEC to London Euston every hour at 20 past the hour (although I'm not sure they will be as fast as normal, as there is an overhead line down)

With regards to carwashing, if you don't fancy the bucket and sponge then there is a hand carwash 5 mins away, just down the A45 towards Coventry. They did a great job on the PH fleet last night and only charged £6! Bargain!

See you all soon!

They obviously havent got to mine yet mate, They'll think its been down with a wire brush or wire wool hehe

Good to see you again smile

Yep wires down at St.Albans caused havoc and I believe some are back up and trains starting to go back to normal...I had to go to Rugby and then wait even longer as some vandals had chucked something on the line!!! Snow probably hehe

The driver on the train I am on has just said the delays are only really effecting the london midland trains, if you're heading back to london rugby or mk he suggested that virgin would be a better option smile

I managed to get back on the first Euston train to leave the NEC (nominally 11:20 but actually left at about 11:35 rolleyes). It was, however, nearly an hour late getting into London ....

At the time we left there were scheduled to be one London train an hour.

I got home to Woking @ 2.30 pm, which was not too bad considering, the problems with the overhead power cables near Wembley, and a guy on the train needing an ambulance.

Good to meet up with you guys earlier. I do feel sorry for the detailing guys, they wetre working their nuts off.

See you all Sunday

Yes I was very impressed with the Swissvax guys; seemed very enthusiastic which is always good biggrin

Can't wait to see how shiny the red rocket is looking! Nice to meet you guys and very nice cars all smile

Roll on sunday!

Edited to say: Well done to Garlick and other PH crew! You were coping very well with a seeming frustrating situation thumbup

Just got back to Weston-super-Mare left the NEC at 4pm after dropping off the car.
Fully loaded car transporter overturned near avonmouth closing the motorway what a sod of a job to battle my way home.

Got to the NEC at 2pm glad I took my own car cleaning stuff.
