For those of you who came to visit the PistonHeads Performance Car Show back in January, you will have seen 160 fantastic cars on display, most of which were supplied by PHers.

PistonHeads had corresponded with car owners stating that owners cars would be cleaned to a show standard, however, many of your cars were not cleaned to the expected standard and we would like to apologise for this. Many of you had made a huge effort to get your cars to Birmingham, and the least we can do is provide you with something to say thank you, and to apologise for your disappointment.

Hearing of the situation, the team at Autoglym gave me a call to tell me about their brand new High Definition Wax, and when they say it is the finest wax that they have ever produced, you start to realise that this is a serious product.

The good news is that all car owners who displayed a car at the PH Show will be sent a free kit courtesy of Autoglym, worth £39.99, so I think round of PH applause should be given to the Autoglym team for offering this to us, especially when they were not involved with cleaning the cars at the show.

I think it’s a top effort, and I’d like to thank the chaps for stepping in. As they have been such good sports, telling you about their new product is the least we can do.

High Definition Wax was created for car owners, who want a concours winning shine and has been developed using the finest ingredients such as carnauba wax and is completely free of abrasives.

While it’s a bold statement to claim that this is their best ever wax, Autoglym really do believe that this product will give the deepest and most durable shine of any wax available.

The wax comes with its own applicator sponges so you can apply an even coating and avoid 'over applying' meaning easier buffing. A finishing cloth is also included that has been designed to maximise the wax's performance as well as making buffing a lot easier too.

Well done, glad we are still rememberd

Took me Hourse to clean my car there as i wasnt convinced the cleaners were going to do mine in the morning and good job i did because from the looks of other cars they didnt, v dissapointing!

However Thumbs up to Autoglym and PH, better late than never !!!!
