Doubtful as I have a friends leaving drinks in Rutland and will probably giving mothers Rover 25 a blast smile if the R32 makes it to the show

I don't know Birimingham, so someone else is going to have to suggest a venue and start time.

Will be happy to, my home City smile

Need to know who is where tho first biggrin

No point organising beer in Brum if everyone is going to have to get taxis from Solihull/NEC for instance smile

Is there anywhere in the area of the NEC we could go to? I'm around on Friday night (At the NEC holiday Inn.) but I don't really want to have to travel too far.

Well I don't want to be driving to wherever we go or I'm not going to be able to drink. I can't want to be too late back as I need to be up reasonably early on Saturday. Is there anywhere very close by? (On site?)

The White Lion at Hampton In Arden is pretty close and is OK. There is also a wine bar on the business park next to the NEC.

Might be able to manage this one, will keep looking back to see where you decide - otherwise it might just be a curry down my local!

the Hilton is the easy option, but at a fiver a pint you wont want to drink much

Just a meeting point to decide what to do.

£5 per pint will be about right for hotels on the complex - be prepared to pay that (or more) inside the NEC too - captive market wink
