Why no stand or meeting point Pistonheads?
Discussion
Having been to the show in past years the Pistonheads hall was very poor this year
Remember this?
How about this?
Shoebags Egg Autosport international 2009
autosport international 2008
Happy Days
Now maybe Im wrong but with the take over of Pistonheads by Haymarket publishing, the charging now for classified adverts, the outsourcing of merchandise (so no stock issues to worry about) we could expect to see something similar to the above?
Remember the sofa area to chat to members of the team and take a short break from the show? Remember the live computers where you could post on the forums while at the show?
Oh how times have changed!

Hi Mark,
Thanks for raising this and apologies for the delay in responding.
The main reason we don't have a stand as such like previous years is that the Performance Car show is no longer just ours, we share this with Autocar (hence the name change from the PistonHeads Performance Car Show to The Performance Car Show in association with...) and as much as we would love to be able to be at the show for the duration, we are still only a team of 4 and it would be very difficult/ costly for us all to get out of the office for 4 days in a row.
We will stay involved and will of course bring you editorial bits and features from the show, we may even go back to having a proper stand but at the moment our plan is to stay as we have this year and keep a display and hopefully have a Sunday Service combined with the show again.
Thank You
Nathan
