Show Pictures 2014
Discussion
Went round the show today, I've taken a load of pictures, but not had time to edit them yet.
May help you to make up your mind on whether or not to go.
They are on my Flickr site: http://www.flickr.com/photos/peter8171/sets/721576...

Yep some great pictures. Thank you for sharing them Peter.
Although It looks like a complete waste of time/money visiting this year, I have been two previous years with less and less interesting stuff each time.
The only things of interest are the cars you'd see more of and others at the Classic Motorshow and a few Sunday Service meets.

Meh, its still a few hours out, a few chats and pics plus the live action stuff. £33 prob a bit steep but its the first time I've been to this one so will give it a go. Though given for most its £8 parking and I'm in with the SS lot then that makes the real ticket cost more like £25

Thanks for the pictures. I'm going tomorrow.
3 hours should be enough time to see everything? I have seats for the 16.30 show.
3 hours should give you enough time, I spent 4.5 hours there and went round a couple of times, speaking to a few people. I went on a trade day, so some things are different between trade and public days regarding exhibitors.3 hours should be enough time to see everything? I have seats for the 16.30 show.
If you don't want to pay the £10 car parking, drive to Tile Hill or Berskwell train stations (5/10 min drive from the NEC) , get train direct to Birmingham International/NEC .... Trains every 20 mins, and it's free to park. The walk from the station to the halls is only the same as the NEC carparks to the Halls....

Things I liked at the Autosport Show 2014.
Carbon safety cell for Superkarts built by clever Swedish bloke
Tall blonde on Powerflex stand
205 T16 at the PH show
Short blonde on the Maxxis stand
John Surtees' Ferrari 158
Debating the merits of using recycled carbon with Reverie
she was very tall, what a pair of legs!!Carbon safety cell for Superkarts built by clever Swedish bloke

great day out with mates
I'm going.
Plus points last year;
Blonde on Powerflex stand and her friend....
Various other groups of women.... yep by chance caught in a photo or two taken as a record of my location to assist in navigation back to the entrance
The various manufacturers who were (are) there, last year I was mid build and it was good to meet them
Negatives;
The cost seems high
Food is plastic and expensive plastic!
I don't have enough wit, charm, wealth or looks to lure the Powerflex girls.
Not all traders hang on from the Autosport Show on the Thursday and Friday which is a shame. TTV only did the two days but I bought mail order in the end.
Going for sure.
