Hello

can anyone remind me what the choral music was in the background during the Norwegan snowplough piece? It's a male choir, well known track, often played over images of Russia or the Red Army!

cheers,

UV

The choral bit is quite Russian in style, but it's actually Vangelis. It's called Conquest of Paradise.

There is another song after Hammond loses his wedding ring ontop of the snow plough, any ideas what that might be?

I can't claim credit for getting that one, although I did recognise it. Most of the other tracks are now listed on here.

Not the first time Top Gear have used this track. Funnily enough , up until two months ago i was looking for the track name too.

Been bugging me for months , ever since Cosford airshow as the Yakovlevs display team use it as a backround track. Very Soviet/Russian sounding track.

Cheers Tank, I was wracking my brain trying to work out what movie it was from.
