I heard this song last year in France, I found it to be one of the most tedious piles of ste I'd heard in ages. I'm sure I'm missing the point, but it's not good at all. Basic rift with some pop celebrities appearing in the video to endorse it. Garbage.

Thank you very much for that link. Now when ever I need a youtube link to show why we are all fked I can post it as the prinicple example.
A novelty song 'performed' by a bunch of self preening tts who wear 'ironic' beards and 'style statement' hats that will be listened to by other 'cutting edge' media wkers on their Iphones as they wander down to Pret. The sort of thing they can bop their heads to as they pay for their £8-00 moccasoccaloccalattebks with nutmeg and £3-00 glorified danish pastry before opening their laptops (which of course are covered in stickers from skateboarding companies) to cruise FB before they meet to discuss campaigns and viruals with Jamie & Emma and that bloke from Clapham who knows Eric Prydz's agent who'll do the tunes for our final exam presentation. They just need to sort out the timing when they get back from snowboarding.
The song itself is totally ironic too. Of course all the proles just think its silly but obviously its just some kind of in-joke of the New York gay scene that only the really cool people know about.

That 'song' has no talent or redeeming features at all. It is all based on how cool the people who 'performed' it think they are and by association how cool the people who then listen to it think they are. Of course you could say well that's the same as Elvis. Yes it is but at least his (and every other major performing artist of the past ten decades) songs say something about the human condition, this is just the name of a gay icon chanted over what sounds like a re-programmed hand held video game from the 80's. They could've defused the situation and made the video funny or silly but no. All it shows is the same bunch of wkers (including the uber-wker himself Diddy-Squat.) prancing around, rubbing everyones faces in how cool, cutting edge and urban they are.

A song made by tossers, filmed by tossers, marketed by tossers who should be taken out and hung by their gonads from lamp posts by piano wire.

It is to the history of popular music, what Marley & Me is to the history of cinema.

A giant, steaming, slighty runny turd that someones elses incontient pooch has deposited in the middle of your duvet.
