Interesting film being made about the Oxford music scene starting in the 80's...if you're like me and loved it in those days this is something to look forward to.

Ride and Swervedriver are two of my all time favourite bands! Will definitely watch this. Thanks for the heads up.

Umm, your titles is a bit confusing as non of those bands are from the 80s wink But after reading that site, it makes sense.

Slightly related, I recorded some live sessions in Oxford off R1 back in - IIRC - 1998: DJ Shadow / The Egg / Fluke. That cassette (!!!) was hard wired into my car player for a good few years!

The set by The Egg was especially good.

Yes, I meant music that was sparked from the 80's...I'm stuck in a time warp perhaps...although I remember seeing On a Friday on Walton street in the 80s. Just dawned on me that was 23/24 or so years ago. I sound like my dad harping on about The Who...
