Having recently amalgamated my CD and MP3 collections Ive discovered that I have loads of repeated tracks and quite a few without full album info. Whats the best (not necessarily free) organizer. Im looking for a program which will delete repeated tracks, find album, artist and song info automatically (if possible from the mp3 file - ie some of them I dont know the artist or song title they are just "track 1, track 2" etc.). Not so fussed about being able to play them from the organizer, just want things in a logical organised format on my HD. Dont mind paying for the right piece of software.

What do other people recommend?

Album player is a good bit of kit and the trial version is free (full version's about £25). I don't know if it can delete dupluicates etc. but it does search out album and artist info from the web and add the album cover image.

Medimonkey is really good for this, the free version does most things, not expensive to register

I understand a little company called Apple do something fairly good that they give away...;)

iTunes is really pretty good actually. And you don't need an iSomething to plug in to use it as a music manager.

Itunes shows duplicates but doesn't delete them iirc? unless things have changed in latest versions.
