I found myself reduced to tears this morning simply by how bloody marvellous a bit of music was. In my case it was Suppers Ready by Genesis from Seconds Out (surely one of the best live albums ever by the way).

As it was on the Victoria Line at rush hour it was slightly awkward but I think I got away with it.

Ever been reduced to tears, just like that? Or am I just a big girls blouse!

Guaranteed Eternal Santuary Man sequence always gets me. One of the greatest pieces of music IMHO.

I love the Seconds Out version in particular, and the knowledge that Gabriel actually cried whilst watching "his" song being done so well by Genesis in Paris.

Also, that version of Squonk makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end.

Excellent! I didn't know that about Gabriel. Well, they certainly nailed it.

Johnny Cash's version of Hurt comes pretty close.

As does Alice in Chains - Down in a Hole, when I'm in the wrong mood.

Anything by James Blunt but that could be for a different reason!

Seconds Out is a great album - I loved Foxtrot for years and only picked up SO recently, glad I did!
