Bugger, missed it!

I Player later for me smile

Can never decide if it or Nebraska is my favourite Bruce album. Depends just how dark I'm feeling

Watched it on iPlayer earlier.. This is a cut down version of the full documentary included in the new box set (I've got it coming from Christmas). Have to admit I've acquired a copy of the outtakes disks already though.. some great tracks on there although you can see why the more upbeat stuff was left off the album.

If you like Nebraska by the way, give Ghost Of Tom Joad a listen too.

I didn't/couldn't get into "Darkness"

I was first introduced to Springsteen by a mate in 1980, that album was Born to Run, but my favourite of his by far is Greetings from Asbury Park!

you havent really heard Darkness unless you have heard some bootlegs from the corresponding tour - some of the shows can be found in excellent sound quality and every song is miles better live, paricularly Promsied Land, Racing in the Street and Prove it all night.

If you buy the boxed set you get a full show, all 3hrs55mins from the 78 tour filmed in Houston.
I bought it as soon as it came out as i could'nt wait for chrimbo, it's a bit dear mind at £75yikes
But you get a fair bit for your moneymusic

I'm putting my trust in a big price cut around May / June and then I'll buy it
