So over Chrimble this year I am off for two weeks to Florida. Big trip for us and I need to load up the Ipod with a few tunes to get us in the mood.

So - Americana - State names, or place names in the titles please. This is for a family audience so nothing heavier than say AC/DC - nothing offensive - just some cool sounds.

Going to California
Sweet Home Alabama
California Dreamin
New York - Paloma Faith (who did the other one recently ?)

I have a bunch of others - but want to throw it open. Bonus points if it is both a Christmas themed song and Americana

I'll have Fairy tale of New York....

Good work,

Two Neil Young songs, but you missed Alabama ! (one of my favourites)

I guess route 66 is probably a no brainer on this too.
