ANyone else got this yet?

I can;t get into it and I thought on first listen I would 'cos it's the nearest to Crystal Planet in terms of production since, well...Crystal Planet (natch).

apart from the genuine old school blues track - it's not memorable at all yet....

I saw Satriani the other week in London and really was dreading it when I heard he was promoting his new album. How wrong I was. I have to say I really do like this new stuff - yes its not particularly cutting edge but damn he really can write a decent tune. I really like the way the record sounds like its a band jamming and not just endless layers of stuff.

Most of his recent stuff leaves me cold but I reckon this is his best album for years.

Takes a few listens to get into it but it's not a patch on his old stuff imo.

Been a Satch fan for years and the latest is great - so much, I am going to put it on the stereo now!

Yeah, it's not too bad.

Not his best work, but still a good listen. I really enjoyed it when he played it in Hammersmith a couple of weeks ago (hadn't listened to whole album at that point).

Got it recently and it's definitely taking a few listens to appreciate it fully

Much as I'd love a reprise of Flying in a Blue Dream I get that there's got to be some progression and the guys getting on a bit now hehe

Still ace live
