Hi everyone
I'm currently conducting user research for my major design project in the final year of my degree in Product Design and Technology. The survey aims to find out where and why people use music in their homes. I'd be really grateful for some responses as it will help me to develop my product design brief which will influence the outcome of the working prototype.
I promise it will take 45 seconds or less; it's only 9 multiple choice questions!
The survey is here: http://www.kwiksurveys.com/online-survey.php?surve...
Cheers
P.S Would it be inappropriate to put this in general gassing as it is not car related?

Done.
It's quite the norm here in Norway to have a radio built into the wall when you have a bathroom done. Bit OTT for me.
I'm more inclined to whack the radio on for some background noise, rather than choose something specific to listen to, I have a backlog of stuff to listen to in the car though.

Thanks, it's good to have specific information too. It all helps! It's quite the norm here in Norway to have a radio built into the wall when you have a bathroom done. Bit OTT for me.

As this is now in the Music section, I think any more data from here will be heavily biased towards audiophiles, rather than Mr Joe Sample.
Yeah, that's my concern. Before it was moved I got a lot of good data though. Most of the data is still relevant however I've got 69% of people listening to music without doing another task which is clearly heavily swayed by being in this forum. The product I am designing (sorry can't say) is aimed at audiophiles though so it's not all bad.

Probably more to do with how the question is phrased.I don't "usually" listen to music on its own, but I do occasionally. Perhaps one album a month. So I answered yes.
