Hi All,

Can anyone recommend a loop recording machine that enables me to record live loops for instruments? I want to record a loop and play it back whilst switching to another melody/harmony. I've ssen some guitar musicians use one and they get some great layered sounds using a pedal board I think, this is what I'm after, any help greatly appreciated.. Cheers...

Probably a digital delay or sampler pedal.

Kt Tunstall was famed for her first performance on Jools Hollands show using an Akai E2 Headrush loop pedal. I remember seeing it the first time and the way she built up the track, it was very clever. I believe that pedal itself is a bit like rocking horse poop to get now.

Boss make a similar one and run international looper contests.

I have a Line 6 Delay Modeler - cant reach it from here so can't give you the model number, think it's DM-4 or something like that! Does more or less what you are looking for as well as the usual digital and analog delay emulations.

Nice, thanks for that, I'm looking to use an electric piano with some other sounds, strings etc, would these sort of things be ok for that?
