Really enjoy this album. It's been on of my soundtracks to the summer.

Personal favourite from the album is 'Watch This'. Nothing less than awesome!

Well, as you've (oj121) come out and admitted you like the Fergie track, I will too. She's clearly wasted singing that Black Eyed Peas rubbish.

The album is very good, and I was lucky enough to see Slash at Download this year, where he was definitely the best thing on all day. There are rumours of more UK dates in the coming months. If you get the chance, go and see him. Slash & Myles do a much better job of covering G'n'R songs than the sad cabaret act that is Axl Rose (when he can be bothered to turn up). Having seen videos of Axl at Reading recently, I was reminded of Vic Reeves singing in the style of a club singer on Shooting Stars.

The vocalist Slash uses for touring is Myles Kennedy, who sung a couple of the tracks on the album, but whose day job is lead singer with Alter Bridge. He was so good live that I started to investigate Alter Bridge, and I'm glad I did. I can highly recommend the album Blackbird. As a taster, try these:-

By the way, as a bit of trivia, Myles was one of the singers being considered as a possible Robert Plant replacement for a Led Zep tour (following the success of the O2 reunion show).

Might be controversial but, does any dislike it? I'm a huge fan of GNR, like VR a bit (seen them) but couldn't really stomach this from Slash frown Much preferred Slash's Snakepit, they did some good stuff.

The track 'Gotten' with Adam Levine on the Album is amazing! It's such a chilled song, so good to have on in the background when you have a lady round wink .... 60% of the time, it works every time yes

Myles somewhat upstaged Slash when they were performing together at Glastonbury this year I reckon. A genuinely gifted rock singer and a really good frontman too.

I'm a bit dissapointed with the album. I think the songs have been made for each guest singer and Slash has changed his style to fit the singer.
The song with Ozzy singing , Slash has a Zakk Wylde sound to his playing and the song with the singer/guitarist from Wolfmother sounds like it's been lifted from their debut album.

I was expecting something more in the vain of Velvet Revolver with Slash showing why he's one of the best rock guitarists.

Saying that I still have the album in the CD player for the last couple of months.

Been listening to this for a few months now. Absolutely love it, always in my car!

If you get the Deluxe version it's got a couple of extra tracks. My fav songs on the album are Gotten (with the lead singer from Maroon 5) and Promise (with the lead singer from Soundgarden). Agree with the others, the Fergie track is pretty damn good too.

If you the songs on here, listen to some of Myles Kennedy's stuff; he's a fantastic rock singer.
