We're off to see Muse on Saturday night and the weather forecast is looking a bit grim! So will they close the roof on Wembley?

My brother-in-law went to see U2 there in the rain and they left the roof open!

I went to see Muse there when the new stadium was first opened.
The roof was left open the whole time, got a bit wet but most of the rain came when I was stood outside queuing!

There isn't actually a roof to close, it just opens up further to allow the grass to get more light.

yes It only closes far enough to cover the seats and even then if its raining hard enough the lower few rows get wet.

Id risk getting wet in order to experience a far better concert on the pitch rather than up in the stands

I know what you mean, we were in the second row at the O2 last year.

However my brother-in-law booked the tickets for this back in January and we're in the stands.

Which night are you going? I'm quite pleased I'm going on Saturday as the supporting acts for that night are better.

I have nothing constructive to add, but I am seething with jealousy at everyone I know going to this gig. You should be in for a treat.

You may be interested to know that I was looking around earlier to try to work out the pickup point for my fecking coach on Saturday, and noticed that Seetickets do have a small number of tickets still available on their website for both nights...

Saturday! Will be my third time seeing Biffy this year, you're in for a treat when you see his latest haircut.

I'm wondering if they'll pull any special treats out for Wembley, I'm praying for Space Dementia and Sunburn, I doubt it'll happen though.

Lily Allen on Friday isn't it? I'm glad I'm going on sat. Top marks to him for dying his beard as well.

Yeah, but at one point there was a rumor she was going to pull out and be replaced by 30 seconds to mars which would have been great, I saw biffy 2 weeks ago at reading (and in 2008) great band and very good live.
