Hey all!

I was supposed to be going to creamfields this weekend with my best mate and his brother.

I have the ticket(weekend with camping), train booked, tent packed, booze brought etc etc and just got a call from him saying that he dropped a dumbbell onto his finger in the gym last night and it has subsequently exploded (his finger, not the dumbbell).

He has been in the operating theatre almost all night and they are giving it a chance to heal, if not healed by Tuesday he will have to have his index finger amputated. Anyway he is not going anymore and he has given his ticket to his bro who is now taking a friend (ive never even spoken to his bro btw let alone met him)

So I have two options:

1. Try and sell the ticket for less then I brought it for, loose out on the £65 train (non refundable) and sit at home drinking the booze I brought feeling sorry for myself.

2. See if anyone fancies "helping a brother out" and having me tag along with you. I can offer a big tent with a lounge big enough for 4 people to sit in when it rains and some real food (bringing along a gas stove and some food).

Im not some chavvy weirdo druggy person, and it would be quite nice if you went either, im 23, into my dance music (obviously) live in Cardiff/reading, work in finance, like a drink, all the normal stuff.

Please apply within, if no luck by tomorrow ill have to go option 1.

Thanks all

Go anyway. If you are happy meeting a stranger before getting to the gate why on earth are you worried of going in and making some friends once you get there.

Go and have a good time. It's only when you are placed out of your safe circle of friends do you actually have to make an effort to make new friends.

Go and share some love brother hippy

If you decide to sell the ticket - really don't sell it for less than you paid for it!

I have worked at a lot of festivals over the last few years (I'm going to creamfields, but I'll be working and not camping) and without a doubt there are people desperate for tickets, paying way over the odds...you should make a profit.

It's this weekend (28th to 30th) but he gave his ticket to his bro!

If you do wanna come, get yourself over to the creamfields page on Facebook, lots of people seeing tickets there (some are even cheaper than face value due to being so close)

Ah bks, I was hoping it was next weekend. Or that I could do the 28th day only. I'm going freefalling for a week instead -> mixed feelings!

brought from where. do you mean bought?

Anyway, go.
I went to glasto on my own after my friends dropped out for A-levels.
I had an amazing time, meat loads of new people and loved every moment of it.

Great,

Just found out that his bro has decided not to go and sell his and my mates ticket to some random bloke from the pub, didn't even consider asking me so I could invite another mate!

So, back to square one
