After talking with Mr. Will im thinking of getting an HTC desire (because im fed up of how Apple dictate I use my Iphone, and what content and I and Cant look at!)
A few months back Itunes opened up their catalogues so choonages could be played on any MP3 player- but what about older albums brought before they opened up the permissions? Could I pay a fee to have them 'retrospectivly' unlocked to play on the HTC desire?

If you click this link: http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/... it will take you to iTunes and show you all the songs that you can 'upgrade' to iTunes plus, which are the DRM free versions of songs.
Two words of warning: 1. It may get expensive and, 2. You can't buy all songs in this DRM free format, as certain record companies won't allow it.
