Getting bored of house music - what next?
Discussion
I've been getting less and less excited by house music over the past few years and have moved towards some deeper, heavier tech-house stuff to find enjoyment. Problem is that I'm even getting bored of this now. I do a little amateur djing and being bored of the music means I hardly ever play any more.
Lately, I've been trying to get into Dubstep but I'm not sure that's for me either... does anyone have any ideas as to what genre/artists to try now?
I'm not talking pop or alt rock - I like good stuff in these categories but I'm looking for something my might re-ignite my passion for the decks (or midi contoller as it is now).

Try uplifting trance. The stuff with complex melodies that mix in and play amongst each other. I can sit and just listen to it because it takes ages to break down and analyse, much like Bach. Compare that with a typical house track: bass, rhythm, chords, vocal sample, riff.
Or drum n bass. The hardstep stuff. Or perhaps jungle. That took ages to work out how to mix it. Snag is, now I can mix that stuff, I have no attraction towards DJing. My decks are quite dusty.

The drum n bass that I have experienced so far is pretty hit or miss. Any reliable artists you can point me towards?
