Anyone else here a fan?
Must admit that I've never been overly keen on them until I started playing "When You Were Young" on my son's Rock Band / Guitar Hero type thingy. Now I can't get enough of them....
Treated myself to their live album / DVD last week from their concert at the Royal Albert Hall. Fantastic gig, wish I'd been there now...
Think my favourite track is Mr Brightside which, coincidentally, has started being played pre-match at my local football team.

Some good songs, some average and some terrible - indy rock and roll... utter ste! I saw them at Hyde Park last year and god they were terrible, too quiet and very very boring. But a mate saw them playing some vodafone party a few years ago and said it was the best gig he'd ever seen... I guess its horses for courses!
I think they are the type of band that would be much better in a very small venue and they peaked with their first album! For a band that must be really depressing!

Very cool band name and for that reason it's cool to say you like them I suppose.
They seem very hit and miss though. I do like 'When you were young' and 'All the things I've done'.
Then they got carried away with themselves and released drivel like 'Human', which (to me) sounded like a cross between Chris De Burgh and one of the Pet Shop Boys poorer efforts from the mid-nineties.
