Calling all Chili fans!!

After the amazing success of the 'Rage Against The Machine for Christmas No.1 2009', A page has been set up to get the Chili's to do the same thing.

All you have to do is follow the link and join the Facebook group - it's as easy as that! thumbup

I hope to see loads of you join biggrin

Oh yeh, and a little bit of Chilli news, if you didn't know already - the Red Hot Chili Peppers have been working on a new album and it is due for release this October. Furthermore, John Frusciante left the group this year to pursue his solo career and has been replaced by Josh Klinghoffer! he's known for his performances with Gnarls Barkley and John Frusciante with his solo album.

If you want to see the Chili's playing together for the first time with their newest member, than have a look at this youtube video - it's not great quality, but you get the idea thumbup

Please join this group if you are, in any way a fan of the Chili's biggrin

Again, my thanks

This is a better link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qKaa1aRpc0M&fea...

I like Klinghoffer, similar to John, he knows the Chilli's (and John's solo stuff), and that shows in the quality of the performance. I'd also go so far as to say his improve on Chilli's songs seem to suit the songs alot better then John's improvs.

Big Chili's fan and a bigger Frusciante fan - that link is Frusciante doing what he does, I think Klinghoffer is lurking in the background swinging his guitar around.

We'll see where he takes the Chili Peppers, there's no doubt he's very talented so hopefully he'll bring some fresh ideas to the party

It will be interesting to see if the line up change can give the Chillis some new life, I used to be a massive fan untill I saw them live a few years back on the "Stadium Arcadium" tour - they were just incredibly flat and the whole gig had all the atmosphere of your average asteroid!

Someone trying to jump on the bandwagon and make a song no. 1 with facebook...is not going to make them no. 1.

They haven't even chosen a song, there's no real reason to make them no.1...I could go on and on why this particular "campaign" isn't going to take off.

It's a load of bks and as others have said, nothing like the RATM thing. Not that I bought into that either but I had some sympathy with them.

Let's get RHCP back in the charts because Music these days suck.
Because RHCP arent chart regulars when they release an album? Radio 1 plays them all the time regardless.

Pathetic campaign.

Who's next? Foo Fighters? Muse?

I completely agree that the whole rhcp facebook page could have been better, i don't neccacarily agree with this guy either when he says all music is rubbish these days.
