Not bought / downloaded anything new for quite a while.

I've got a more alternative taste in music that varies between the emos latest wet dreams and heavier older stuff.

A quick breakdown of bands I like - so looking for recomendations for other things i might like......

(In no particular order)

Metallica
Less Than Jake
System of a Down
Blink 182
Iron Maiden
Avenged Sevenfold
Machinehead
My Chemical Romance
Marilyn Manson
Pedulum
Greenday
Smash Mouth
Sum 41
Evanescence
Offspring
Therapy?
Terrorvision

So as you can see its sorta punk / metal ish.

But then on the other hand I've also been known to stick on some late 90's early 2000 dance clubby stuff. PVD, Sundiessential, I enjoyed Groove Armada, Faithless and so on.

So any suggestions?

eta: A few i'd missed.

Punk/metal I'd suggest Biffy Clyro or Bullet for my Valentine. Lamb of God, especially Wrath and Sacrement are high on my playlists these days, liking them a lot, though they a bit heavier. If you like Offspring, you could go back in time and listen to their influences, I'm thinking Pixies and Smashing Pumpkins (Wave of Mutilation or Death to the Pixies for Pixies and Siamese Dream / Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness for Pumkins)

Also keep an eye on "The last album I bought" thread as there is always good new stuff thrown up in there

Ta.

Got some Biffy, they're OK.

Love the Pumpkins forgot to put them on - infact Mellon Collie &.... is one of my favourite albums.

Biffy Clyro stuff for me is so hit and miss. They have amazing songs twinned with appalling stuff.

Though get fked stud and toys toys toys choke toys toys are both brilliant songs.
