Umm, I hate to break it to you, but, you do know that Phil Lynot has, um, shall we say, left the band?

I saw them a few years ago with John Sykes playing with them, it was good but I felt something was missing. Some bands can get away with certin members leaving/dying, I just don't think Lizzy is one of them.

Having said that they were good and it was great to see Scott playing live, what a player. I wonder why Robbo doesn't get in on the act? Brian Downey on drums will be cool though.

Indeed.

Actually, I do think "Life - Live" is the line in the sand for TL. Distilled essence of Lizzy on four sides of vinyl.

They are fantastic, I can't think of their frontmans name to hand right now but he is indeed amazing. Bloody big too ! I briefly met John Sykes due to The Almighty connection as he came to see Pete Friesen who I'm friends with. Nice guy smile

Your friends with Pete Friesen??!!

That man is a legend, i loved The Almighty (still do).
Ricky Warwick and Pete Friesen were my idols back in the day and they were great in that band.
I spoke to the band and Pete when the Almighty toured a couple of years ago, great chaps.

What a truly great band! It is indeed a great shame that it's only really now that I am beginning to really appreciate them - albeit I do remember watching them performing live on the BBC as a 13 year old and thinking - "WOW that guitarist is a bit good!"

I would love to see Scott Gorham live - and I'd love to see them perform my favourite track - Rosalie!

I am indeed. If you're around Guildford or nearby, he does the odd gig in his cover band "King Biscuit" who are the st. One of the nicest guys I've had the pleasure of knowing. smile
