Ok - bit left of centre, but am indulging in some rock nostalgia at the mo with one of my favourite bands of the late 80's/early 90's - D-A-D (Disneyland After Dark), a not very well known (over here) rock band from Denmark.

Some awesome tracks over the years 'Won't cut my hair', 'Bad Craziness' and a great recent albumn 'Monster Philosophy'.

Anyway, just musing over whether any other PHers had heard of them!?!?

Similar era to Leatherwolf and Aldo Nove - another couple of relatively unknown bands what I thought were awesome at the time smile

Check 'em out - you might like it smile

Love them! First saw them on Noisy Mothers/Raw Power back in the day with the videos for Bad Craziness (very AC/DC and great video) and for ReconstructDead. So I guess as the latter was the new song it was 1995!

I was on holiday in Sweden in 2000 and managed to get HELPYOURSELFISH and "Good Clean Family Entertainment you can Trust" which is a best of.

You've made me search them out to listen to now!

I LOVE these guys...

Can't believe they never made it big tbh, it's great stuff - and with Monster Philosophy they are stll putting out great tracks, albeit a bit 90s flavoured.

I spent god knows how long trying to get copies of their CDs for my girlfriend, who is a huge fan.

May be of interest to you then that they've just released their entire back catalogue in a box set smile

Have a look on their website for details....

reminds me of a coupl eof other bands that should have made - Hardline for one - Double Eclipse is a superb album - really varied and top quality playing.

and Sleeze Beeze might have done better - "this house is on fire" is a regular on my playlist, top notch rockin'
