Cornford Harlequin
Discussion
Picked up an early Harlequin today and all I can say is I wish I'd done it when they first came out. It's 6 watts of valve loveliness and don't be deceived by the output - it goes bloody loud.
Beautiful break up when driven hard and creamy clean when you back it off. Fantastic - just need to finish off my pedalboard and I'll be a happy boy!

Interesting.
Never heard of it.
How much? Where from?
I bought the amp secondhand from a session musician who used it as his main recording amp. Paid £337 for it but new they're around £640. You can get them direct from Cornford or places like Coda Music, Holiday Music, Cranes and Andertons stock them and occasionally they'll crop up on fleabay. There's 2 on at the moment, one in the traditional oxblood tolex and one in black...Never heard of it.

if you can't find one near you if you're planning on passing near Castle Donington drop me a line and you can drop by and have a go with mine...

Cheers for the offer, chap. I may have to take you up on that as my bank account doesn't currently have the bandwidth for a £650 amp!Gassing Station | Music | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
