Yes, that's an interesting rethink of the track. I particularly like the use of strings, which to my mind makes it stand out as slightly quirky today.

Certainly a lot better than most cover that can only manage an dance style backing track to bring them up to date.

I was prepared to dislike this, but I can't - it's too nice.

Tony Banks once said he wished more people would cover Genesis songs. If they're as good as this, why not?

I like. Not really a cover though, just re-instrumentation.

IMHO a proper cover is something like Scissor Sisters' Comfortably Numb. A complete fresh take on a song. Not better, not worse, just different!
