Does anyone have any experiance of a ESP LTD D-4 bass?

I picked one up in a shop yesterday and I was dead impressed. The sound was great, finish superb, really weighty and had a good action. All for £370, which I thought was remarkable value.

However I am a relative novice and have only picked up a few basses in my time, a Yamaha RBX170, Squier Vintage Jass and a few others in a shop. This is the first one I have played with a through neck with active electrics, so I might be being fooled by those features.

Anyone else have any opinions?
