Don't know why i done it,but all i did was go into the options and ticked the box to enable asio to run in the background, that was it!,2 seconds later i decided not to bother and unticked the box,now im getting no sound!!rolleyes.I can see the input signal from the guitar showing in Cubase, but im getting no sound out??

Something similiar once happened to me. I had to go back in to Windows properties and re-select the 2496 soundcard as the default. Worth just checking this.

Hope you are well anyway.

If you've not already tried it, make sure that Windows hasn't muted one of your inputs or all of them. Settings > Control Panel > Sounds and Audio > Advanced.

It does this to me when I change input settings and is bloody irritating.
