Thats a shame, always entertaining, even if they did try to take themselves too seriously now and again. Fallen Angel a great driving track..Saw an interview with him once. He said words to the effect of, this isn't serious music, its music to listen to when you go out and have a beer with your buddies, have a laugh and sing along to. Also saw him in thet Decline of Western Civilisation film and he seemed like a funny enough guy.
iirc he was on a doc about motley crue last week on sat tv.
comes across as a decent guy, and as above not taking it too seriously.
he took live music seriously though - his guitarist cc deville once played half of "unskinny bop" without his guitar plugged in, too high on drugs to notice, brett flipped and the band were on dodgy ground...
I also recall dee snider saying of "every rose.." "it's one frickin chord man, one chord!!!!" pmsl.

This is sad news, I met Brett at a signing on the Native Tongue tour. He was a really nice guy and took time to talk to everyone, even though there was 2000+ people there. He actually shook my hand rather than just taking our stuff and signing it and sending us down the line. Hope he pulls through..
