emo.... grrrrr
Discussion
Aren't you about five years late on this one? I thought emo had all but dissapeared. Even the whole nu-rave/indie thing which followed it seems to be more or less done now.
For what it's worth I'd much rather kids got into music that actually involved real instruments and a degree of creativity than, say, manufactured RnB/garage. Do you honestly think they'd be listening to anything more profound otherwise? At least emo stuff is a step in the right direction.

True...but teenagers can be miserable at the best of times, and this stuff really doesn't help, with their faux-angst? Really - do excuse me while I split my sides laughing at how much crap you've had to put up with in your 15 years of life so far...can I introduce you to a couple of friends of mine who've dealt with 10x as much and are more cheerful at their worst than you are on an average day!!!But on balance I think I'd rather an emo-head than some gangsta-wannabe with his belt down by his knees and his attitude turned up to 11...
