Just got back from seeing the Joe Perry Project at the 100 club (London). They were on storming form and seeing them in such a small venue was fantastic. Sound was good, in stark contrast to Sunday nights gig at Wembley when their sound was just awful, which was a shame.

They gave it their all, especially Joe and a true rock and roll show unfolded. It was a nice mix of JPP tunes from the early days, tracks from the current album and aerosmith tunes. A reggae version of 'Dream on' was entertaining and a highly enjoyable cover of 'Someones going to get their head kicked in' (fleetwood mac) .

David Hull and Marty Richards joint bass and drum solo was enjoyable with some of David Hulls bass playing being truely amazing.

I've been lucky to see some legendary shows before, and this was certainly one of them. Joe definately has the rock and rolls again.

Would have loved to have seen that, JP is awesome - some of the finest riffage of all time has come from him
