We're off to a wedding in July and on the RSVP we have to let them know our "favourite party song by a British artist"...

Any suggestions?

In a turn for the serious, how about I bet you look good on the dancefloor by the Arctic Monkeys?

Tequila is a good choice. When I was in charge of the music at a New Years Party at the turn of the Millennium, the one song that really got everybody going (especially the oldies) was, surprisingly, 'Song 2' by Blur. Can't go wrong with a bit of Russ Abbot 'atmosphere' eitherlaugh

Hi Ho Silver Lining by Jeff Beck (albeit written by Americans).

As for So What (mentioned above), the Metallica cover version is good too.

Or there's The Winker's Song (misprint) by Ivor Biggun & the Red-Nosed Burglars.

Almost forgot, there are plenty of Macc Lads tunes that would fit the bill too. wink

For some reason She's Electric by Oasis was stuck in my head at lunchtime so i've gone with that.

Not likely to offend anyone
