I used to fence at the same club as Bruce Dickinson... he's a really nice guy: no airs and graces or 'look at me' type stuff (In fact I had no idea he was a rock star initially!). He was an excellent fencer too: an awkward leftie.

Paul Di`Anno is going to be on at the Hard Rock Hell Festival, 4th December in North Wales.

European dates are in 2011 I heard on the vines consisting of the succulent fruit we call grapes.

iirc bruce was in the GB squad for LA 1984 olympics and was ranked 4th in the uk at the time again iirc, but band committments meant he couldn't be considered for selection.

I'm just waiting to see if they release one day tickets to Sonisphere as I don't wanna spend the whole weekend there, just wanna see Maiden play. Fingers crossed they start selling them soon!

Adam I was told that the day tickets go on sale closer to the festival. That could be wrong though, so really not helpful.

I think I remember seeing an old forum disscusion saying that last year they released day tickets in mid Jun'ish. Here's hoping they do the same this year.
