Playing locally Thursday at a very small venue. Really tempted but having loved the original Hawkwind, is this going to be a total disappointment?
Dont want to spoil my memories.

Guess a few bevvies and it wont much matter

If you go expecting a Hawkwind gig, I suspect you may find it a little disappointing.

If you go expecting a load of great tunes, a right good laugh & a mad old knees up, you'll have a brilliant time (with some Hawkwind tunes thrown in for good measure)! Nik is still a fantastic entertainer, I've seen him/Inner City Unit/All Stars/Space Ritual loads of times & he/they have always been bloody brilliant.

I'd go myself if I was closer. frown

Mmmmmm Stacia. She was certainly statuesque, wasn't she? Made quite an impression on me at the age of 14 (not literally, sad to say)

Stacia was indeed a rather captivating lady smile

Stonehenge, summer solstice 1983.
Sunrise, standing on the stones with the druids and Angels (Hell's). Agricultural quantities of drugs and Hawkwind three hours into a four hour set. And I can't remember much else.
